A. CASE CONFERENCE /STUDY GROUP FORMAT
Each series of 2x per month Case Conference/ Study Groups include basic skill building in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy including Object Relations. Focus will be on case selection and on developing Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy patients and 3 Stages: Developing Therapeutic Alliance, Working Through, and Termination..
Deepening the Treatment focus is included in each case. Both Classical and Relational contemporary approaches are covered. Special attention is paid to deepening participants’ ability to recognize and utilize Transference/Countertransference/Enactment Matrix.
Group will also be fostered to work with each other in case conference skills and to be part of the group’s unconscious associations to patient material. Also covered will be an introductory look at how patients are converted from supportive psychotherapy to more intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Pre-screening required. B. INDIVIDUAL CONSULT FORMAT WITH Eric Buck, MFT
This option includes goal formation for technical skill building supported by a custom-made reader for your particular needs and you progress at your own speed. Consults can include practice management assistance which fits your clinical direction. COST: $125 for 50 minute sessions/ $115 with SVAPP membership
